The Kalimba is an African thumb piano known as Mbira, Likembe, Sanza or Finger Piano. It produces mesmerizing sounds from flexible metal strips at various lengths with mahogany wood as a resonance box. In history, tribes play the Kalimba to get rid of evil or pray for rain in a drought season.
Nowadays, adults and kids play the Kalimba thumb piano for fun and recreation, making it one of the most loved instruments in many parts of the world.
This beautiful Kalimba instrument is crafted from a single board which is a whole cut of mahogany timber. Most high-end acoustic instruments use this kind of material as they produce crisp and clear vibrations.
This finger instrument is then carefully assembled and crafted to perfection by a team of experts. Its wooden case, together with 17 metal keys, allows notes to hold longer and lets you create a clear, bright tune.

Upon the receipt of your very own Kalimba, it is already ready to play. You will get a tuning hammer that helps you make pitch adjustments if needed. With this, you can create higher or lower notes by tapping on the metal keys.
This is done by hammering the metal keys shorter to achieve a higher pitch. If you want a lower pitch, you may do so by beating it longer. To play in a standard key, you can use a real tuner or download mobile tuner apps available on the App store or Google Play. It is delivered tuned according to the international standard of C. Tuning is only needed when the keys are accidentally adjusted during transport or frequent use.

Even if you are a beginner with no musical experience, you can quickly learn this wood piano as it is one of the easiest instruments to learn. It has 17 metal keys with visible engraved note labels so you could easily follow through the music sheets. You don't even need to have a background in musical fundamentals to do so.
Give the keys a gentle push and let it create a tune as it bends. Play music by pressing on the corresponding metal keys on the spectrum. You can also explore countless songs for Kalimba on the internet if you're done mastering the music sheets' songs.

Because of its handheld size, the kalimba is portable so you can bring this musical instrument anywhere. It fits on most bags because of its compact and handy structure.
Play music in your free time, whether you're at the office, school, or on vacation. You can bring the relaxing ambience wherever you go and jam with friends whether you're on a beach, park, camping area, or picnic.
It also sounds great when played along with other instruments such as guitars and ukulele. After use, quickly wipe it with the cleaning cloth and conveniently store it in an empty shelf, box, or desk space.
